Posted October 02, 2018 06:37:38Honda Financial services, one of the world’s largest financial services companies, has been awarded £1m by the British government in a bid to boost investment in the UK.
The deal with the UK government will see the firm receive £2.5m from the Department for International Development (DFID) and £2m from UK Overseas Territories.
The company will now focus on attracting talent from the UK to help run its operations in Britain.
The Government also announced a £1 million funding injection from the British Investment Bank to support infrastructure investment and economic development in the country.
Honda Finance has been in the news recently after it announced it was to close its doors in the United Kingdom and move its headquarters to Germany.
