The position requires experience in handling and managing a variety of financial aid applications, as well as in administering and overseeing financial aid and other programs administered by Honda Financial.
This position is responsible to the Financial Aid Directors Office and the Financial Services department.
The job duties include ensuring that financial aid programs are administered effectively, maintaining financial aid information and programs on file, providing financial aid assistance to eligible students and providing financial assistance in connection with student loan refinancing.
This role may also include overseeing other financial aid agencies, such as the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
The responsibilities of this position may include providing assistance to the student loan servicing industry, assisting the student loans servicer in obtaining loan repayment terms and interest rates, reviewing applications for loan modifications and other services, managing and administering the student aid and financial aid services, and providing other financial assistance services.
The positions responsibilities include performing related administrative and legal functions and responsibilities in relation to financial aid, including monitoring and reporting financial aid activities.
The duties may include the duties of maintaining and maintaining a detailed record of all financial aid activity, including all financial assistance applications received, approved, approved or disapproved, including any changes made to applications, and the status of applications.
